The role of the PTA is to work in partnership with the school to create a welcoming school which is inclusive for all. It promotes partnership between the school, its pupils and all its parents and carers. It seeks to develop and engage in activities which support the welfare of the pupils. It identifies and represents the views of parents and carers on the education provided by the school and other matters affecting the education and welfare of the pupils. All parents and carers are welcome to attend our meetings, which are held in person and virtually.
Fundraising
The PTA raises extra funds for Parklands School through a range of fun and creative initiatives and events. We are involved in the school Easter and Christmas Cafes and provide funding for school uniforms and the Christmas Pantomime.
